Petty Fight: Pineapple on Pizza - Halal or Haram?
Let's settle this once and for all. Is putting pineapple on pizza a violation of... good taste, and therefore makruh at minimum?

It's an abomination before God and man. HARAM.
I like it! It's sweet and savoury. Perfectly halal and delicious!
You are a menace to society.
And you, sir, have an uncultured palate! 😂
From a fiqh perspective, pineapple is a plant, and pizza is made of permissible ingredients. There is no textual prohibition. Therefore, it is Mubah (permissible). Matters of personal taste are not sources of legislation in Shariah.
Spoken like a man who has never had to suffer through a Hawaiian pizza. The fiqh is sound, but the spirit is weak.
Okay Faisal, but what if the pineapple was grown using an interest-based loan? CHECKMATE.
... It would still be permissible to consume the fruit itself, though we should strive to support ethical and interest-free supply chains where possible.
You people need to get a hobby.
Welcome to our hobby.
only halal if it's on a beef pepperoni pizza. chicken and pineapple is a no-go zone.
Now THAT is a fatwa I can get behind.
What about with spicy beef and jalapeños? That's the superior combo.
Can we all agree that the real haram is the price of olives as a topping?
Now this is an issue I can get behind. $3 extra for a handful of olives is the real crime.
